Tender description
This notice is for information only and does not constitute an award. City College Peterborough (CCP) is the Council's Adult and Community Learning (ACL) college, offering post-16 education within the city, and has the designation of being a 'grant funded provider'. There are various delivery models within which ACL is offered in England, and the model that has been in place for 20+ years within Peterborough is that whereby CCP operates as an ACL college - a department of the Council, however with the Council delegating financial and management autonomy to CCP and the Governing Board. These delegations between the Council and CCP's Governing Board in relation to financial and management delegations are being revoked to ensure sufficient oversight and assurance of CCP activity and decision making. CCP's change of operating model shall take effect on 5 January 2026, and from this date, CCP's procurements shall fall under the category management of the Council's Procurement function. As part of this change of model the council wishes to give notice that PCC Procurement department will be seeking to regularise procurements over the next 6 -12 months for all CCP contracts.
