Monaghan County Council is seeking a suitably qualified web developer to build and develop an interactive geospatial repository containing information on all outdoor recreation amenities available in Co. Monaghan for public and visitors to the county to access and enjoy. The user-friendly interactive platform will allow anyone to discover what trails and outdoor places are available to visit across county Monaghan with ease and will provide detailed information about each location allowing users to make an informed choice about which trails or spaces are best suited to their needs. The web application will take the form of a programme housed within an existing website, i.e. the Monaghan Tourism website – www.monaghantourism.com – and in doing so, would compliment and align with the visitor information and maps already contained within the website, providing a ‘one-stop-shop’ for those wishing to get out and explore both the outdoors and the tourism offering that the county boasts.
