This is a Voluntary Ex-Ante Transparency Notice (VEAT) to inform the market of the Authority's intention to award a contract for an additional period of 3 years (no extensions), to the incumbent provider (Age UK Mid Mersey), for the Provision of a Wellbeing and Engagement Service that supports older people (50+) across the borough, in an holistic way, to 'Live Well' across the thematic areas of: • Health and Wellbeing • Social Inclusion • Personal Independence • Staying Connected This extension aims to maintain continuity and stability of service provision. The annual contract value is £118,724.00 and the total contract value for the period of 3 years £356,172. Lot 1: This is not a new contract opportunity, but rather a VEAT Notice to inform the market that the contracting authority seeks to extend its existing contract service which has been in place for many years and provides a reputable point of contact for older people across the borough. This would be a direct award for the next three years.
