Tender description

We have received approval to commence architectural planning for roof works. The issues associated with existing roofs, relate to water ingress in multiple areas which have been ongoing for years. The cause of water ingress is not due to lack of maintenance or the age of the roof. Water ingress is occurring, as a direct result of how the roofs were originally designed and constructed. In simple terms, the roofs are concentrating rainwater in the area above the main corridors. The roof above the main corridor is a flat roof with minimal falls in the roof. During a rainfall event, rainwater from the surrounding roofs is flooding the flat roof. Water levels rise rapidly and exceed the level of flashings around the perimeter of the flat roof, and water enters the building in multiple locations.
