This research aims to generate a deeper understanding of the underlying drivers of food injustice disproportionately affecting Black African and Black Caribbean communities in Lewisham. It will explore the structural, social, economic, and cultural factors contributing to these disparities and identify actionable solutions to better meet the needs of the communities most affected. The findings will inform the ongoing delivery of the Lewisham Food Justice Action Plan, ensuring that future interventions are evidence-based, equitable, and community-informed.
