Manufactured Products Agile Spares (MPAS)

Tender description

Sellafield Ltd intends to award a Contract to the Cumbria Manufacturing Alliance-an unincorporated joint venture between West Cumberland Engineering and Bendall's Engineering Ltd-for the supply of Manufactured Products Agile Spares. This agreement will encompass, but is not limited to, the following scope: • Ongoing supply of manufactured and fabricated products/spares to support stock replenishment across Sellafield Ltd's operational plants, including minor project-related requirements. These products are deployed site-wide and are essential to maintaining continuous operations. • Provision of Calciner spares, which are critical to the functioning of the High-Level Waste Plant (HLWP). • General machining and fabrication, including the production of high-precision and complex components from a wide range of material grades-such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and exotic alloys-manufactured to engineering drawings and up to Quality Grade 01. • Execution of manufacturing trials and prototyping activities to support innovation and development.
