Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) is intending to award a single supplier for the delivery of TSEO services across the GM region for a duration of 7+3+1 years. TFGM are committed to improving safety and perceptions of personal safety and security on the public transport network and leads the long-established GM TravelSafe Partnership. This priority, is explicit as one of the key Bee Network customer commitments: Safe- We will create a safe and secure network Accessible- Everyone can use us Affordable- We will keep the cost of travel as low as possible Reliable?- We will deliver a reliable network Sustainable- We will take the lead in creating a greener, healthier Greater Manchester Accountable- We will use your feedback This Security Services contract will fulfil: * TfGM’s general ‘security’ requirements incl. static guarding at sites * Provision of security support for high-risk events, and * The TravelSafe Support and Enforcement Officer (TSEO) services The TSEO service will deliver a range of activities to support passenger and staff safety across the Bee Network. The role includes protection of revenue and performing revenue inspection activity on bus. The contractor would be required to supply high calibre, customer-centric personnel on a 24/7 basis, level of which will vary dependent on levels of service provision.
