Containment, Transportation, Processing, End of Waste Recovery and Reporting of Local Authority Bulky Waste Mixed Hard Plastics

Tender description

Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council (BGCBC), hereinafter referred to as the Authority, invites Tenders, in accordance with the Authority’s Requirements and subject to the attached terms and conditions to set up a contractual agreement for the transportation, processing, recovery and reporting of non-hazardous bulky mixed hard plastic waste from householders that have delivered bulky mixed plastic waste to our Household Waste Recycling Centre. The main aim of the contract is to manage bulky mixed plastic wastes in line with the waste hierarchy. At the conclusion of the procurement exercise, it is the Council’s intention to award a contract for an initial period of 1 year, with the option to extend for a further period of 12 months (2 years in total).
