Tender description

The School of Physics and Astronomy requires a high purity ozone supply unit to enable fabrication of high-quality thin film samples of complex oxides using molecular-beam epitaxy (MBE). The ozone supply unit must be able to generate high purity, high concentration ozone. It should be able to provide both of high concentration (guaranteed ≥ 80 % at the inlet to the MBE growth system) and low concentration (~10 % at the inlet to the MBE growth system) ozone, to cover a range of growth conditions required for oxide thin-film growth. The unit must come with advanced control and safety features. It should allow continuous supply of ozone for at least 8 hours, with the option to extend this duration via future upgrades.
