As part of preparation work for a future procurement procedure, Renfrewshire Council (the “Council”) would like to invite your organisation to participate in this market consultation engagement exercise. The market engagement does not form part of the formal procurement process and will not impact on the evaluation of any future procurement procedure. The purpose of this PIN is to gather market interest and information to inform the procurement strategy and approach to a Lotted Contract for the provision of Doors and Windows Replacement and a Reactive Replacement of Doors and Windows Contract for domestic and commercial properties within the Renfrewshire area. The Lot Structure proposed will be: Lot 1 – Reactive Replacement Windows and Doors Lot 2 – Replacement of Windows and Doors The work under Lot 1 will be reactive and will be issued via Task Order only. There is no guarantee of spend. Lot 1: Reactive Replacement Windows and Doors Lot 1 Scope may consist of the following: The works comprise the removal (including disposal) of existing windows and doors and a mix of measure, supply and installation of replacement UPVC and Composite doors, UPVC windows and UPVC screens and infill panels to various types of domestic and commercial property. Lot 2: Replacement of Windows and Doors Lot 2 Scope may consist of the following: The works comprise the removal (including disposal) of existing windows and doors to circa 6500 properties. This includes a mix of measure of supply and installation of replacement UPVC and Composite doors, UPVC windows and UPVC screens and infill panels to various types of domestic properties. All works will be carried out within the boundaries of Renfrewshire Council within occupied and vacant property.
