The Skills Development Scheme will address critical labour and capability gaps that constrain Jersey’s economic growth, support for major infrastructure (including the New Hospital), and delivery of the Government’s Carbon Neutral Roadmap. Following review by the Skills Development Scheme Panel on 20 August 2025, eight priority skills areas were identified for immediate commissioning. This ITT seeks accredited training providers to deliver full end-to-end training provision, ON ISLAND in JERSEY including initial set-up and any specialist equipment, across the following eight lots: 1. Childminder Qualifications, Level 2 Certificate or Diploma with basic Maths and English support 2. Specialist Culinary Skills, practical short-course pathways and relevant accredited options 3. General Roofing and Solar or PV Installation, short courses or boot camps and apprenticeship routes 4. Low-Carbon Heating System Design and Installation, Level 3 apprenticeship plus short courses or CPD 5. Analysis Skills and Data Science, sector-focused short-course pathways to support data-driven decision making across industries. 6. Healthcare Assistance, Train-the-Trainer model covering moving and handling, medication administration, and first aid 7. Historic Property Management, specialist conservation and retrofit skills 8.
