Horndean Parish Council Sports and Fitness Project

Tender description

Horndean Parish Council has received building contributions of £95,000.00 to design and build a new outdoor fitness facility and multi-use games area (MUGA) at Jubilee Park. The documents are for both facilities which will be procured as: Lot 1: Outdoor Fitness Lot 2: Multi Use Games Area Suppliers may choose to bid for one or both Lots as the Council is not seeking a single contractor to undertake the work unless the scoring criteria's results determine such an outcome. The Council has a proposed budget for each Lot however following the receipt of tenders and quotations, there may be a requirement to adjust the budget and overall allocation of funding, particularly if the total exceeds the current funding. Optional Pathway: outside of the main budget will be the option for suppliers to quote on a new pathway from the car park to the proposed MUGA. This is to be shown as an addendum within the tender response for Lot 2. Details of the pathway requirements will be included in Appendix A2.
