Repair, Maintenance and Supply of Hoists, Stairlifts and Other Access Equipment - EOI

Tender description

The Council has access equipment at various sites across the Borough including day centres, leisure centres, some schools and other sites. There are also a number of domestic lifts/hoists at private properties that were installed some years ago by Adult Social Services and remain the responsibility of the Council. The maintenance of much of this equipment, including the regular servicing and day-to-day repairs is co-ordinated by the Council’s Asset Management Department and this requirement seeks to formalise these arrangements under one contract. It is envisaged the contract will also allow for the supply of new equipment as may occasionally be required, but the sourcing of such equipment will not be limited to this contract and alternative quotes may be sought should any requirements arise. As a result, the Council is issuing this Expression of Interest (EOI), to confirm whether organisations would be interested in providing their services to the Council, in line with the requirements as detailed within the "Scope/Specifics".
