The University of Dundee owns an extensive estate based on three campus sites. This request for services is concerned with land and assets owned by the University in the City of Dundee, based in the Tayside Region. The University are seeking to execute an estate rationalisation programme which will see the disposal of surplus land and property within Dundee City.  All proposed assets are wholly owned by the University of Dundee. In all cases, new titles will be drawn up by our existing solicitors to define clear boundaries. Property Overview The land and properties that have been identified as part of the Estate Rationalisation Plan all differ in current and potential use, age, size, accessibility, and condition. At this time, the University has not explored change of use options or secured any additional planning permissions but is willing to explore such opportunities if that will assist in sales values. Full details and extent of locations will be revealed to the successful tenderer. Location: Dundee City, Assets included: Commercial Land: The University has 2 specific identified parcels of land on the City Campus which are surplus to requirements and are currently used as car parks and other low grade amenity land. Both have independent access routes and present a range of opportunities for a buyer. Note – one site is on a relatively material incline. Property Assets: The University has identified a range of properties which include (but are not limited to) converted housing to offices and small teaching spaces. There are approximately 8 individual properties, plus a developed contiguous property that used to be made of up to six individual properties. Additional: Additional properties may be reviewed and included in future iterations of the strategy as the University deems suitable to meet its objectives.
