Tender description

ESNZ (formerly NIWA) leads the development of Cylc, the Workflow Engine that underpins research and operational systems across the Partnership - NIWA - Cylc Development.docx. Recently the Cylc developer core team lost a significant fraction of the resource needed to continue the development of these plans and deliverables - 1.6 FTE across ESNZ and the Met Office. Note ESNZ maintains a significant ongoing investment in Cylc development, funding someone at nearly full time on the project - which is our primary Momentum Partnership Leadership Activity. This loss of resource is expected to impact several high priority efficiency issues in Cylc8. ## Contract award
