Appointment of IST -Pitches Strategy - Monrush recreation Area Refurbishment

This project is a key project identified within Mid Ulster District Council’s (MUDC) Pitches Strategy. The project and a general description of the works are as listed below. Project Location; 1. Monrush Recreation Area, Cookstown, BT80 8EU is situated at Princess Avenue, BT80 8EU The project will seek to facilitate physical regeneration within Monrush Recreation area through: Monrush Recreation Area, Princess Avenue, Cookstown: • New land drainage of existing green space. • Provide new planters and access paths/hardstand to planters. • Car-Park Refurbishment, kerb repair/replacement, new bitmac surfacing, white lining and associated drainage. • Existing footpath resurfacing and kerb repairs • Landscaping including associated street furniture provision, ie; accessible picnic tables, bollards and bins. • Reduction of existing hardstand area then new topsoiling and grass seeding of area.
