Contract for the Provision of Mental Health Supported Housing

Tender description

LBH Joint Commissioning is seeking to commission a specialist mental health supported accommodation service for vulnerable adults in Hounslow. The service will operate across two buildings in Hounslow and a total of 34 units of accommodation. This service was originally part of a framework tender which went out in August 2025, it is being re-tendered as a standalone contract with a revised requirement. The eligibility criteria have been broadened to include experienced providers of mental health supported accommodation who are eligible for exempt accommodation rates of Housing Benefit i.e. Registered Providers of Social Housing, Registered Charities or Community Interest Companies. You will need a valid registration number to demonstrate at least one relevant status. The main role of the service is to provide supported move-on accommodation for individuals within the target group who are ready to take a first step down from a more intensively staffed setting. This will usually be from a community-based service, such as 24-hour supported living, but could also be hospital, provided an individual will be able to manage within the level of support provided by the service. In a smaller number of cases, appropriate individuals may be referred to the service as a step up from the wider supported accommodation pathway, mainstream housing or temporary accommodation.
