Tender description

1.1 Scottish Ministers are seeking to appoint a new Chair to the Water Industry Commission for Scotland.1.2 As part of the recruitment process candidates (approximately 4-5) that are suited to the appointment will be invited to take part in a series of assessment exercises. This should involve an assessment of Leadership Style through psychometric tests.1.3 The supplier of the assessment centre will specify suitable methods to meet the aims/objectives of the assessment exercises and agree how these will test the essential criteria for the appointment with Scottish Government officials. The supplier is expected to provide reports of each candidate to each panel member following the assessment centre. They will also be invited to provide an overview of the shortlisted candidates’ performance in person to the panel members prior to interviews taking place.
