Tender description

The London Borough of Merton requires a supplier to provide numerous textile recycling opportunities (in the form of collection banks) for residents across the borough on a concessions basis. The Major of London has set a target to recycle 65% of London's municipal waste by 2030, and a target to recycle 50% of Local Authority collected waste by 2025. Merton has developed a Waste Reduction and Recycling Plan (RRP) to work towards the recycling target set by the Major of London, which was set to improve waste management and make London a leader in sustainable living.
