Tender description

This is a tender for the appointment of a multi-disciplinary conservation-led design team to prepare and submit all statutory and design documentation necessary to secure: Planning Permission for the conversion of the first floor of the Sisters of Mercy Convent, Ballina, into three to four self-contained residential units, Fire Safety Certificate and Disability Access Certificate for the first floor of the ground floor; and Concept design, outline specifications, and cost plan suitable for tendering future construction works. The works are to be designed within the context of the building’s Protected Structure status, using existing survey data, AutoCAD drawings, and conservation assessments already available. All work affecting the historic fabric must be accompanied by a method statement prepared by a suitably qualified professional.
