P1 staffing capacity Exeter

Tender description

NHS Devon has sought to procure urgent provision of short term staffing support for P1 discharges from RDUH in Exeter Lot 1: Due to lack of capacity in local authority provision during initial winter demand surge, NHS Devon urgently required additional peripatetic support for P1 work with patients being discharged from hospital in Exeter. A provider was available who had previously supported this area of work, performing well. Due to the urgency of the need the decision was taken to award a very short direct award to this provider. The award is for provision of 3 members staff, 7 days a week for 12.5 hours per day; 175 - 200 hours per week. The contract period is for 6 weeks, anticipated to start 27/10/25.
