Tender description

This project is to assist East Lothian Council (ELC) with a VAT Data issue which has arisen during the implementation of a new Finance System, where the nominal CSV lacks the required VAT Rate information to allow import into their new system. Lot 1: East Lothian Council requires the development of a custom software program to automate the ingestion and processing of financial data files, specifically XML and CSV formats, for generating output CSVs with integrated VAT referencing and logging. This program will streamline data handling by prioritizing XML ingestion and falling back to CSV processing when necessary, incorporating lookups and updates based on nominal and VAT data sources.
