Tender description

This Contract is for the provision of a comprehensive Dog Kennelling Service for Belfast City Council. The Contractor shall be responsible for the safe, secure, and humane accommodation of dogs in accordance with statutory obligations and Council policy. This includes impounded, stray, unwanted dogs, dogs deemed to be or assessed as bred for fighting, and dogs seized for any other reason. The Service may also extend to dogs taken into care by the Council’s Animal Welfare Service, which operates as part of a regional framework currently under review. The Service shall support the Council’s Dog Warden operations and contribute to public welfare and responsible dog ownership.
