The National Building Specification (NBS) is a proprietary package used to create Project Specifications for individual projects. These dictate the materials used and the standards of workmanship required in their use in the construction of a project. The package allows each discipline within the Design Team (Architect / Civil & Structural / Mechanical & Electrical engineers etc) to specify the products they require to complete the project in accordance with their design. Lot 1: NBS Chorus is an Industry-standard, in the same way as AutoCAD and Revit, and the Specification Clauses are arranged to integrate with AutoCAD / Revit and similar Surveying software, to provide a fully integrated system across the industry. The package is constantly updated by the operators to keep all product references and workmanship aligned to current standards (National Codes of Practice and Building Regulations), and in doing so, meets the requirements of the Council Quality System.
