Placement potentially required 3 February 2025 • Diagnosis Quasi- Autism spectrum disorder diagnosed age 3 • Moderate learning disability Placement would ideally be located within the North East of England. This young person is very complex and the Council would like to explore whether any providers are able to offer innovative suggestions about how they could support this young person. Ideally we would love to secure a provider who is able to support them into adulthood although we appreciate that not many providers are set up to provide care under Ofsted for children and adults with CQC. It is not likely that we would consider an unregulated placement but at this point we wish to be open to providers responding so that we can review and then explore further if possible. An anonymised assessment is available for review for any provider who feels that they can potentially meet needs. Following review a more structured selection process may be followed, if a number of providers express an interest. This can be requested by expressing an interest and sending a message via the portal requesting access to this detailed information.
