A435 Cycleway section 2.2

Tender description

This notice relates to a market engagement exercise only and is not a call for competition. This advert is intended to notify potential suppliers of the upcoming tender for the A435 Cycleway Section 2.2. These works are located on the A435 Evesham Road between the Racecourse Roundabout (approx. post code GL50 4QB) and 60m north of the GWSR Bridge (approx. post code GL50 4SH). This scheme is part of a wider strategic scheme to boost active travel provision within the county, through the creation of the Gloucestershire Cycle Spine. The overall scheme will implement a continuous cycleway for cyclists of all ages and abilities between the main hubs of Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Haresfield and Stroud. The client is looking for a Principal Contractor (PC) to deliver the construction phase of this scheme.
