Tender description

The Council invites Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced economic operators ‘Bidders’ for the provision of collection, transportation and analytical laboratory services to enable the council to implement a comprehensive surface water, groundwater, leachate, marine water and marine sediment monitoring scheme, in accordance with the Northern Ireland Environment Agency Waste Management License, at the Giant’s Park, North Foreshore site, the council’s former landfill site located at Dargan Road, BT3 9LZ, adjacent to the M2 motorway at the Fortwilliam roundabout. The service shall also be required at the council’s civic amenity sites, recycling centres and the waste transfer station in order to demonstrate compliance with Department for Infrastructure ‘DfI’ (Department for Regional Development (DRD)) Water Service consents to discharge trade effluent to a sewer and DoENI / DAERA consents to discharge into a waterway.
