Tender description

The Works will include the construction of a shared footway/cycleway through the central island with minor associated earthworks and soft/hard landscaping. New signalised crossings will be introduced on the circulatory carriageway and the arms of the interchange on the A96 and A9 off-slips and Millburn Road, along with all associated ducting and cabling. Resurfacing of existing footways between crossings will be undertaken alongside hard landscaping works. Carriageway resurfacing and lining will also be undertaken as part of the works. New street lighting columns, ducting and cabling. Estimated date that tender documents will be issued:23rd September 2025 Estimated date of tender return: 28th October 2025 Estimated Contract Award Date: 18th November 2025 Certain operations will required to be undertaken by by suitably qualified contractors and so NHSS Accreditation Required: NHSS 2A, 2B, 5B, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 30 Restrictions on completion timescale: Avoidance of Easter holiday period.
