Anchor is conducting a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise to better understand the market for Commercial Catering Equipment Installations. The insights gathered from this questionnaire will help shape our future procurement strategy. Anchor is undertaking a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) to engage with potential suppliers in the commercial kitchen equipment and supplies sector. As part of our commitment to providing high-quality and safe facilities for our residents, we are seeking to deepen our understanding of the market's current capabilities, capacity, and innovations for the supply, and installation of kitchen equipment. This questionnaire explores key areas including product and service scope, adherence to critical safety and operational standards (e.g., Gas Safe, NICEIC), and experience with public sector e-marketplace platforms. We are particularly interested in gathering feedback on our proposed commercial model, which involves a lotted procurement for heavy and light equipment and the creation of a product catalogue for our marketplace tool. We are also seeking to understand pricing models for equipment catalogues and associated fixed-cost services (such as surveys and disposal), warranty provisions, and the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) suppliers use to measure project success. The valuable information provided by suppliers will be instrumental in designing a fair, effective, and modern procurement framework.
