Laboratory Testing – Abortion Investigations in Cattle

The Scottish Government’s Animal Health and Welfare Division within the Agriculture and Rural Economy Directorate wishes to establish a contract with an appropriately qualified and experienced contractor to carry out laboratory examinations on samples of blood, milk/colostrum and vaginal swabs for evidence of brucella abortus infection. This contract will form part of Scotland’s programme to monitor the national herd for brucellosis. The Scottish Government has a requirement to place a contract with an external service provider for the provision of Laboratory Testing – Abortion Investigations in Cattle.
