o East Deloraine Riparian Woodlands involves the creation of 9.51 hectares of native broadleaf woodland across three compartments on East Deloraine Farm. The new native woodlands will provide shade and shelter for livestock and will help to buffer the watercourses, reducing sediment and nutrient pollution. In addition to this, the woodlands will create valuable habitat corridors, supporting local wildlife and providing much needed shading to exposed watercourses, helping to reduce thermal stress in stream.
