Tender description

The Contracting Authority invites tenders to provide the Works for Agreed DDA Extension and Ancillary Works at 7 Cavandale Park, Enniskillen. The project is for the provision of an Agreed DDA Extension and Ancillary Works at 7 Cavandale Park, Enniskillen. The estimated duration of the Contract is 16 weeks to commence late 2025. These works will be taking place to occupied existing property Below Threshold works - Procurement Act does not apply. The work will comprise of the following: The construction of a single storey bedroom rear extension together with associated site works. he works shall be carried out in one phase with a completion date of 16 Weeks including holidays from site start. The Works under this contract includes for the following general works to the property as follows:- Single storey rear extension, with associated site works and adjusted drainage, to provide disabled bedroom / bathroom extension. Internal alterations to selected existing ground floor areas, including the relocation of existing services and up-grading existing fabric, all arising from the new extension. Services works- extended heating system, extended new lighting and power and associated alterations to areas within the existing house including widening of doors and relocation of radiators. The property will remain in occupation during the works, the contractor shall provide all temporary works, dust screens and protection barriers during the works between the new extension and the existing dwelling and within the existing dwelling. The Contractor shall coordinate the works within the existing dwelling with the Tenant to ensure a safe and uninterrupted use for both Contractor and Tenant at all times. The existing dwelling shall be cleaned left safe and secured at the end of each day to allow for continued use by the Tenant. All the works to be completed with Minimum Disturbance to the tenant / neighbouring properties and public. The contractor shall notify the Tenant and neighbours in advance of commencement of the works on site, the works area and site shall be closed off to the tenant / neighbours and public.
