The Supplier Development Programme in partnership will hold the 8th Annual Meet the Buyer North as an in-person, face-to-face event on Wednesday 10 September 2025 at the Music Hall, Aberdeen. Focusing on one-to-one in-person networking, Meet the Buyer North 2025 will allow your business or social enterprise to connect with "real" buyers from across the public sector, as well as private contractors with supply chain opportunities and business support providers, all under one roof. Business will be able to meet procurement teams from local councils, alongside other public and private sector buying organisations, private contractors and business support organisations that are all based in the North of Scotland. Lot 5: utilities Projects may include, but are not limited to, public utilities, utility diversions, ducting, public lighting repairs, parts, installations, replacing, commissioning, equipment and maintenance, and traffic lights installations, repairs, replacing and maintenance. Lot 6: harbour, coastal, rivers, flood and marine Projects may include, but are not limited to, construction works, maintenance, repairs and replacing for dams and similar fixed structures, lighting for ship & river guidance and illuminations, coastal defences, river regulation and flood control works, river wall construction and protection works, marine works, river works, coastal works, waterway diversions, canals, pontoons, jetties and piers.
