***PRE-MARKET ENGAGEMENT EXERCISE*** ***PLEASE NOTE: The Pre-Market Engagement Questionnaire can be accessed in the Cft Documents area*** The Livestock and Meat Commission for Northern Ireland (LMCNI) is currently preparing to initiate a procurement process to establish a contract with a Supplier to complete the operational delivery of the DAERA Carbon Footprinting Project. The potential scale of this service is such that it offers a significant opportunity to interested parties. LMCNI wishes to establish the level of market interest in participating in the procurement process and to hear from potential suppliers to assist LMCNI to : (a) develop its requirements as to the qualities a service provider should have and any standards that it should conform to; (b) designing a procedure and conditions of participation (if any); (c) design award criteria that: (i) relate to the subject-matter of the contract; (ii) are sufficiently clear, measurable and specific and; (iii) are a proportionate means of assessing tenders; (d) to gain insight into the market, identify suppliers that may be able to supply the goods and services required and the availability of innovative solutions; (e) identify appropriate contractual terms; (f) foster awareness of the project, building capacity and confidence among suppliers in relation to the contract being awarded; (g) identify barriers or disincentives to participation in the competition and; (h) identify risks to the success of the Project. **PLEASE NOTE: ALL COMPLETED QUESTIONNAIRES MUST BE SUBMITTED VIA THE MESSAGING PORTAL on eTendersNI, BEFORE 15:00 on the date specified below under 'Time-limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate'
