Mansfield District Council require 2 contractors to undertake the investigation, diagnosis, and comprehensive remediation of damp and mould issues across the Mansfield district. The primary objective is to eliminate the root cause of dampness, eradicate mould growth, prevent recurrence, and restore affected areas to a safe, healthy, and habitable condition for residents in all types of properties within MDC's housing stock, including bungalows, houses, and flats, whether occupied or void. Work required could encompass...: • Site Surveys & Coordination • Mould Remediation & Surface Preparation • Damp Proof Course (DPC) & Structural Moisture Control • Ventilation & Airflow Solutions • Insulation Works • Penetrating Damp Source Remediation (External - Supplemental) • Specific Condensation Damp Remediation • Reinstatement & Finishing Works • Post-Remediation & Certification Contracts to be for an initial term of 2 years with the possible extension of 12 months at the discretion of the Council.
