C385933 Works to Linen Store and Bed Store

2gether Support Solutions is seeking a suitably experienced contractor (the ‘Supplier’) to carry out works to its existing Linen Store and Bed Store at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford. Following a space change of use within the hospital some rooms have become available which we would like to refurbish and change the use of. We have an area which was used for storage of linen before it was decanted around the hospital, which we would like to convert into an office environment creating 3 closed offices and one large open plan office. We have another area which we would like to use to create a welcoming welfare environment for staff. Currently staff do not have any are in which to take a break therefore this would provide them with a much needed wellbeing area. The indicative start date for the works is 24/10/2025 and we would expect the works to take 6-8 weeks to complete. The works will need to be phased. Phase 1 will convert the existing linen store into an office and change the single door on the corridor to a double door set. The second phase will include the refurbishment of the old bed store into a welfare facility.
