Proposed Phase 1 Peatland Restoration - Knoydart Estate, Highlands

The Knoydart Foundation and Zulu Ecosystems will collaborate with the NatureScot Peatland ACTION team and skilled contractors to undertake peatland restoration within an artificially drained and actively eroding peatland area across Knoydart Estate, totalling approximately 166 ha. This work will be the first delivery of peatland restoration on Knoydart Estate and will be delivered in one phase, with restoration work expected to begin in Summer/Autumn 2026. All details are contained within the Statement of Requirements. Lot 1: This notice has been posted to raise awareness for the opportunity to tender for a proposed one-phased, peatland restoration project. The Knoydart Foundation, Zulu Ecosystems, NatureScot Peatland ACTION and successful contractors will carry out a peatland restoration project within artificially drained peatland and actively eroding areas of the estate totalling approximately 166 hectares.
