MEDITE Europe DAC have plans to modernize their MDF facility with an investment in new equipment called Project Shine. Project Shine involves the installation of the following: • Wet fuel handling system of which the main components are: • Fuel bins • Conveyors • Hoppers • Silo • Dry Fuel handling system of which the main components are: • Silo’s • Screens • Conveyors • Energy plant of which the main components are: • Infeed system • Main Furnace • Thermal Oil Heater • Electrostatic Precipitator • Steam Generator • Associated fans: ID fans, recirculation, primary + secondary. • MDF dryers of which the main components are: • Hot Gas Duct • Face Dryer • Core Dryer • Associated fans • Services + utilities to the above, mainly: • Thermal oil • Compressed air • Water • Natural Gas • Steam • Storm and foul water • Bunds where necessary Electrical Contractor Scope of Works Project Shine has completed the detailed design phase of the project and proposals are sought for the Electrical Contractor for the Construction Stage of Project Shine.
