Negotiated Contract for the provision of Provision of Road Operative Modern Apprenticeship Training

South Lanarkshire Council have a requirement to undertake a Negotiated Procedure under Standing Order 9 of the Council's Standing Orders on Contracts for the provision of Road Operative Modern Apprenticeship Training for apprentices recruited by South Lanarkshire Council. The award of this contract under the Negotiated Tendering Procedure can be justified under Standing Order 9.3.1 of the Council’s Standing Orders on Contracts for the following reason:- The services can be supplied by only one suitable contractor because competition is absent for technical reasons and no alternative or substitute exists and the absence of competition is not the result of an artificial narrowing down of the parameters of the procurement. The contract term runs from 23 June 2025 to 31 October 2028 with the option to extend for 12 months in any increment if required.
