Travel Care Taxi Service

Tender description

The provision through a framework of travel care and support services for children and young people with special educational needs and children looked after, who primarily travel from home to school; and vulnerable adults who primarily travel from home to day care services, plus other locations as required. This procurement is comprised of 2 lots. Lot 1 for regular journeys and lot 2 for ad hoc journeys. Routes will be called off as and when required for varying durations as set out in the ITT. Lot 2: Taxi provision Ad Hoc Journeys Lot 2 For the provision of one-off taxi services to eligible children, young people and vulnerable adults in Hammersmith and Fulham including specially adapted vehicles for the carriage of wheelchairs. Some services will require the provision of travel care assistants, and some will not. Lot 1: Taxi provision Regular Journeys Lot 1 For the provision of taxi services in the form of regular routes for a set period to eligible children, young people and vulnerable adults in Hammersmith and Fulham including specially adapted vehicles for the carriage of wheelchairs. Some services will require the provision of travel care assistants, and some will not.
