System Lead and Panel Chair Prevention of repeat Child removals

Safer Cornwall Partnership (Cornwall Community Safety Partnership) are looking for someone with experience of working with families with multiple vulnerabilities to lead a new way of working for families in the perinatal period who are at risk of child removal or who have recently had a child removed within around 6 months of birth. This person will work independently and will be contracted (not employed) by Cornwall Council. This role is for an initial period of 1 year with the possibility of extending to 2 years. The expectation is that this role holder would work an equivalent of 2 days a week (46 weeks of the year) for Year 1 and then 1 day a week (46 weeks of the year) in Year 2.
