Provision of the Delivery of Modern Apprenticeships to North Ayrshire Council

Tender description

Due to the continuation of the Modern Apprenticeship programme, NAC requires a provider/s to provide external support for the provision of training to modern apprentices. The contract will be broken down into the following lots; Lot 1 - Business Administration Apprenticeships Lot 2 - Social Services Apprenticeships A maximum of one provider will be appointed to each lot however providers may tender for one or both lots. The anticipated contract start date is 16th June 2025 until 15th June 2027, with the option to extend by up to twenty-four months. Extensions will be at the sole discretion of NAC and subject to satisfactory performance and funding. Lot 1: Business Administration Apprenticeships The suitable provider/s must deliver Modern Apprenticeships, including any core skills required / enhancements, for Business Administration SCQF5. - Up to 15 x Business Administration modern apprentices per year from 2025-26 onwards. These will be predominantly SCQF5 GT9J 22, however there may be some SCQF6 GT9H 23. Qualification delivery time for GT9J 22 should be 12 months and GT9H 23 should be a maximum of 18 months. Lot 2: Social Services Apprenticeships The suitable provider/s must deliver Modern Apprenticeships, including any core skills required / enhancements, for Social Services (Children and Young People) SCQF 7. - Up to 5 x Social Services (Children and Young People), SCQF7 GH5W 23 modern apprentices per year from 2025-26 onwards. Qualification delivery for this should be a maximum of 18 months.
