The Scottish Government is currently undertaking a public consultation on the potential regulations to prescribe a minimum number of learning hours in schools in Scotland. The consultation provides an opportunity for local authorities, those that work in schools, parents, children and young people and other stakeholders to give their views and put forward evidence about the potential impact of the implementation of the proposed policy. The Scottish Government (SG), on behalf of the Scottish Ministers, is seeking to commission a Contractor to undertake the analysis of responses to this public consultation. The overall aim of the contract is provide robust and timely analysis and reporting on the responses to the consultation, to inform policy development, legislation and supporting documentation.
