Early Market Engagement for SEND Resource Base at Gordano School

North Somerset Council (NSC) would like to invite prospective bidders to complete a short market engagement questionnaire to inform the project team in the development of their procurement strategy. The Project is to create a new Resource Base at Gordano School in Portishead, to open by January 2027. The project will deliver 25 new local places for pupils with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND). North Somerset Council intend to publish an open tender later in the year in order to appoint an experienced principal contractor as part of a 2-stage Design and Build (D&B) tender process. Further details and the market engagement questionnaire are included on the attached. Please note: Responses to this market engagement will not form part of any supplier selection, NSC currently intend to use an open tender process. Thank you to the suppliers that have already responded, all of your feedback is read. The information provided helps us to understand the level of interest in the project and can help develop the procurement strategy for the project.
