Tender description

Sligo County Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Contractor to develop, facilitate, and implement a programme of activities that supports local groups to observe and understand the biodiversity of their local area and the wider implications of human activity on our region. The project includes provision of “Train the Trainer” in biodiversity and it is anticipated those successfully completing training will support local participants until end of the project. The programme promotes social inclusion and builds capacity in participants as per the Sligo PEACEPLUS Co-designed Local Community Peace Action Plan 2021-2027. The successful tenderer will have an understanding of co-design approach and experience of developmental community participative projects. Expertise and understanding of biodiversity will be required.
