Tender description

DCC are currently preparing the tender for the supply, installation, maintenance and removal of highway electrical assets such as streetlights and illuminated traffic signs. The contract will include the provision of electricity service works as an ICP (Independent Connection Provider) across the three DNO (Distribution Network Operator) areas in Derbyshire and attendance to dangerous situations to reduce the risk - mainly second call with a lorry mounted crane and occasionally first call. The contract will not cover traffic signal maintenance. We are keen to gain insight from potential suppliers to help DCC develop the model for the contract ensuring it is attractive to the market place, provides value for money and delivers the best outcomes for Derbyshire.
