Interprofessional Experience (IPEX) Innovation Fund

Tender description

NHS England is offering funding to support providers to carry out projects aimed at improving interprofessional experience (IPEX) within maternity and neonatal education. This funding is targeted at undergraduate and pre-registration learning. The aim of Inter-Professional Experience is take Inter-professional learning to a new level, in which the entirety (or as much as possible) of the clinical learning experience is delivered inter-professionally. It is therefore anticipated that projects will offer more than a limited number of classroom or simulation sessions outside the usual working /training clinical environment and that instead projects will be embedded, as far as possible, within the clinical setting and within the normal experiential learning. NHS England is expecting to award multiple Grants from the funding pot of £250,000.
