Hosted Advocacy Services for Children and Young people

NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde wish to appoint an independent advocacy service for children and young people who are being treated in Skye House and Ward 4 of the Royal Hospital for Children. This is a highly specialised service mandated by the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act. the service is usually non instructed and is governed by clearly defined principles and standards. Lot 1: An Independent Advocacy Service for NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde's Specialist Childrens Services Hosted Services which include the West of Scotland Adolescent Inpatient Unit and The Child Inpatient Unit. The Service will be provided to the whole spectrum of mental health service users up to the age of 18 years and the diversity of the population including gender, ethnicity, age, disability (physical or otherwise) and sexuality.
