EISEC via IP Connect Private MPLS Service (2024-2029)

Tender description

New contract after BT upgraded hardware. Replaces existing CPA SPU 326 which was due to expire in 2027 (now archived). The exact start date of contract was not known when this contract was added to In-Tend. The BT Change Request was CR1053. The Requisition was approved 31/10/2024 and likely date by which BT will upgrade hardware, test and approve is 01/12/2024. Call Management System use to find address/postcode (ID phone numbers) when 999 calls are received .IMPORTANT NOTE: In October 2024, Tom Daniels advised that BT are nationally upgrading the infrastructure and must replace this hardware. BT will install new hardware and when they are happy it is working OK will switch to it, at which point this contract 326 will no longer be required (i.e. not running until 2027) and new contract CPA SPU 2470P (5 years) will commence. Exemption approved by Jane Norton 18.10.2024 and commences in December 2024.
