WNC Household Textile Collection Service - AWARD

Tender description

We are seeking a contract for the collection, transport, sorting and processing and sale of textiles from households across the whole of West Northamptonshire Council area. The former South Northamptonshire Council area entered into a service level agreement for a collection by a third party. Textiles within the former Northampton Borough Council area can be put out for collection alongside a residents dry recycling. There are no arrangements within the Daventry area for the collection of textiles. West Northants Council can promote this service to all it's residents as a legitimate way to recycle unwanted textiles. This may then reduce the amount of textiles found within the general waste bins currently around 6 percent of the residual waste stream
